Experience:
Ken has over 15 years’ HR generalist experience, specialising in Equality Diversity & Inclusion. He has worked across various sectors and industries leading on key ED&I projects, notably in Local Government, Education, various Independent training providers and SMEs. Ken is very project driven and has delivered key milestones in meeting the expectations of various stakeholders. Few of his key strength lies around implementing ED&I strategies – initiating culture change and overall delivery of training programmes.

As a trainer, He also recognises the importance of organisations and senior leaders fully embracing the relevance of intersectionality, whilst keeping up to date with all ED&I initiatives.

He is very passionate about promoting underrepresented groups, from his own lived experience and vast knowledge gained over the years. He has championed the creation of various staff network groups and in some cases also overhauled the existing staff network groups to gain more visibility and engagement.

When Ken is not working, he is out there in the community as a co-founder of an independent radio station (online stream), where he is actively involved in hosting and broadcasting various talk shows/podcasts relating to topics around embracing Diversity and Inclusion in modern day Britain (as seen from the lens of an ethnic minority migrant).
